Illustrated with a portrait frontispiece and eight further plates. Collated, complete.

A biography of Scottish inventor, engineer and chemist James Watt, known for creating the Watt steam engine in 1776, which was fundamental to the changes brought by the Industrial Revolution.

This work was printed for private circulation.

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Boards bright, with light fading to back strip, and bumps to back strip head and tail. Inscribed to front free endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
