This is one of two of J. M. Barrie's "Tommy" novels, this one following the story of Tommy Sandys, a young man who clings onto childish ideals and falls in love with Grizell, a strong-willed and independent woman.
Barrie was a Scottish novelist and playwright who is best remembered as the creator of 'Peter Pan', which originated in his 1902 novel 'The Little White Bird' before the West End "fairy play" 'Peter Pan, or The Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up'.

Bound in full signed polished calf by Root & Son. Externally, very smart, with minor rubbing to the extremities and fading to the rear board. Internally, firmly bound, with scattered spots throughout.
