Bookplate of the Masonic Home of Massachusetts to the front pastedowns of all volumes expect II and XXX. This was a Home intended for the care of distressed Freemasons and their families, based at the Overlook Hotel from 1908.

Condition

Volumes I to XXIX have been rebound in half morocco with cloth to the boards, Volume XXX is in the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, generally smart, with light rubbing and marks to the boards and spines. Bumping to the head and tail of the spines and to the extremities, resulting in a small amount of loss, heavier to XXIX and III. Marks heavier front board Volume V, and to the front board of Volume XXVII. Ink mark to the front board of Volume XVIII. Dampstain to the spine and rear board of Volume XXV. A couple of very small dampstains to the rear board of Volume XXVI, and to the spine of Volume XVI. Front hinge of Volumes, I, VI, XIII, XIV, XVI, XVII, XXIV, and XXVIII are starting but firm, as is the rear hinge of Volume III. Front hinge of Volumes VII and XIX are strained, as is the rear hinge of Volume VI. Hinges of Volumes IV and XX are starting but firm. Bookplate to all volumes except XXX. Bookplate has been removed in Volume II. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
