Written by prolific Irish author, Maria Henrietta de la Cherois Crommelin, known as May Crommelin, who was particularly known for her novels and extensive travel works.

'The Luck of a Lowland Laddie' is an exciting tale of adventure and mystery, set in South America. The protagonists are surrounded by a number of challenges, including a carnivorous tree which chases them for several chapters.

Condition

Bound in the publisher's original pictorial cloth. Externally, very good, with light bumping to the extremities and spine, with the odd mark to cloth. Spine has darkened slightly. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, with age toning to endpapers. Ink inscription to title page and pencil inscription to p15.
