    One of Thomas Robert Way's collaborations with Frederic Chapman, in which Chapman's historical notes complement Way's illustrations as they run throughout the title.

    One of several illustrated titles of Way's dedicated to the history of London.

    Includes a frontispiece, and 23 further monochrome lithograph plates.
    Collated, complete.

    This copy is number 303 of 400 limited edition copies, 365 of which were intended for sale. Signed by Thomas Robert Way to the limitation page.

    Condition

    Bound in original green cloth. Externally, very smart. Slight rubbing to spine, wear to head and tail. Spotting to endpapers. Internally, firmly bound, very slight strain. Pages bright and clean.
