First edition. Illustrated throughout with frontispiece, forty-four plates and a fold-out map to the rear. Collated complete. A work of travel writing from adventures in Canada, with details of Quebec, Montreal, Ontario, travelling resources, train routes, industries, sights and society. Written by John Wilton Cuninghame Haldane, a writer and traveller.

Condition

In the original blue cloth binding. Externally, smart with light shelf wear to the extremities. Light rubbing to the joints with minor loss to the front joint. Small marks to the rear board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with light spotting to the endpapers. Contemporary inscription to the front endpaper.
