A six volume set of the very scarce periodical 'Feilden’s Magazine: An Engineering Review', uniformly bound in half morocco.

Present here are volumes II to VII of this work, containing issued published between January 1900 and December 1902.

This publication aimed at providing an accessible yet informed survey of contemporary engineering practice. It offered articles on mechanical and civil engineering, industrial processes, and new technologies, alongside commentary on engineering education and professional matters.

Seven plates to volume II, six to volume III, six to volume IV, six to volume V, six to volume VI, five to volume VII, with further full page and vignette photographs and diagrams to each volume. Collated, complete.

With detailed discussion of technologies and engineering advancements including railways, steamers, motors, pumps, and industrial machinery.

Condition

In half morocco bindings, with cloth covered boards. Significant rubbing to board perimeters and joints, with further rubbing to back strip tails. Handling marks to boards. Rear board of volume VI detached but present. Tail of vol II front joint starting, and head of front joint of volume VII starting, with boards firmly held. Fading to back strips. Internally, firmly bound. Volume II lacks general volume title page. Pages exceptionally clean and bright.
