Condition

In the publisher's original cloth bindings. Externally, generally smart. The odd handling mark and scratch to boards. Slight fading to spines. Damp staining and the odd handling mark more to “Creatures,” with slight paper residue to front board. Slight rubbing and bumping to extremities. Rubbing and residue from bookplate removal to front paste downs of “Many Inventions” and “Wee Willie.” Bookplate with previous owner’s inscription to front free endpaper of “The Light.” Previous owner’s inscription to front free endpaper of “Soldiers Three,” “Handicap." Bookplate to front paste down of “Book of Words.” Internally, generally firmly bound. Hinges sligthly strained in places, but holding. Pages generally bright and clean with the odd spot to first and last few leaves.
