Illustrated with a frontispiece and forty-eight images on plates. Collated, complete.
Former owner's inscriptions to front free endpaper, and a bookplate to rear pastedown.
Condition
In the publisher's original cloth binding. Boards bright, back strip age toned and bumped to head and tail. Front hinge strained but only a touch tender. Inscription to front free endpaper, bookplate to rear pastedown. Internally, firmly bound, but with title page detached and loosely inserted. Pages lightly age toned, with the odd spot.
