A biography of the renowned children's author and Anglican deacon Lewis Carroll, author of 'Alice in Wonderland' and the poem 'Jabberwocky'.

Carroll's own nephew, Stuart Dodgson Collingwood, compiled this biography of Carroll's life, including within many photographs and letters.

Illustrated with a frontispiece and over eighty full page and vignette illustrations.

With twelve pages of advertisements to the rear.

Condition

In a half morocco binding, with cloth covered boards, and gilt detailing to back strip. A touch of rubbing to joint heads and tails, otherwise externally excellent. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and generally clean, with only the odd spot to page perimeters.
