Illustrated profusely throughout with four hundred monochrome illustrations including a frontispiece and an illustrated title page.
This collection of artwork and pages from children's books was collected by Andrew W. Tuer and aims to preserve the artwork and texts from works that may have been lost to time or forgotten.

Condition
In the publisher's original cloth. Externally smart with bumping and slight rubbing to the extremities and marks to the boards. Hinges starting with light offsetting and scattered spotting to the endpapers. Past owner's ink inscription to the front free endpaper. Front free endpaper tender. Internally binding starting in places with two pages disbound but present. Pages generally bright with minimal age toning to the extremities with the odd spot and handling marks.
