Curious Bypaths of History: Being Medico-Historical Studies and Observations By Dr. Cabanès (1898). Illustrated with a frontispiece by Daniel Vierge, engraved on copper by F. Massé, this is a limited edition, number 103 of 500 copies, printed on fine Van Gelder vellum paper.

Untrodden Fields of Anthropology: Observations on the Esoteric Manners and Customs of Semi-Civilized Peoples; Being a Record of Thirty Years’ Experience in Asia, Africa, America, and Oceania Volume II.

Second edition.

An ethnographic study written under pseudonym by a French military doctor, this work reflects the colonial and ethnocentric attitudes of its period.
