A story that unfolds in the atmospheric backdrop of Corsica, exploring themes of violence and social conflict. 

    1905 The Grey Lady 
    The sixth impression of the work. With a frontispiece, and 11 further plates. Collated, complete. A novel that sees protagonist John Ashley entangled in a web of secrets and lies surrounding the mysterious figure of the Grey Lady.

Odd mark to boards, most significant to The Isle Of Unrest. Front hinge of The Isle Of Unrest strained. Internally, generally firmly bound. Plate named 'They slowly cocked their old-fashioned single-barreled guns' in The Isle of Unrest disbound but present. Pages are bright and clean with the odd spot.
