Collated, complete.

'The Pink Fairy Book' is Lang's fifth book in his popular 'Fairy Books' series.

The pink volume contains stories from Sicilian, Scandinavian, and Japanese folklore.

Containing 'The Snow-Queen', 'The Cunning Shoemaker', 'The Merry Wives', 'The Sprig of Rosemary', 'The House in the Wood', 'The Goblin and the Grocer', and more.

Andrew Lang is best known for these collections of fairy tales, and was an avid collector of folk and fairy tales. He was a Scottish poet, novelist, and literary critic.

Illustrated by Henry Justice Ford, a noted English illustrator who is best known for his beautiful illustrations for Lang's works.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, generally smart. Spine is a little faded. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. A few light marks to the boards. Tears to the head and tail of the rear joint. Hinges are strained. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean with the occasional scattered spot. Closed tear to the head of page 269/270. Page 49/50 is detached but present.
