The first edition of this work, bound upside down in the publisher's original cloth binding.
A guide to East Anglia, written by Annie Berlyn, illustrated with a collection of monochrome photographs taken by the well-known landscape photographer John Payne Jennings.
During the 1880s and 1890s, Jennings was commissioned by Great Eastern Railway Company to produce a series of photographs, to be used on their railway carriages to advertise the Norfolk Broads.
Condition
Bound upside down in the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, smart, with a little fading to the spine. Light shelf wear to the extremities. Gilt remains bright. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean.
