Includes a historical commentary on the development of these methods from snares and lore to netting and trapping. Written by Reverend Hugh Alexander Macpherson, a British ornithologist and clergyman.
Condition
In the original full cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities. Minor fading to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with light scattered spotting. Further spotting to the first and last few pages with light age toning to the endpapers.
