Later in life, Younghusband led the 1904 British expedition to Tibet.
Illustrated with a frontispiece, one folding map to the pocket to the rear, three folding maps, and seventeen plates.
Collated, complete.
Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Very light rubbing to the joints and extremities. A few light marks to the boards. Front hinge is starting but firm. Spots to the endpapers, and a small tide mark to the rear endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, with only the occasional scattered spot. Frontispiece is detached but present.
