Including introductory descriptions of the area's topography, flowering periods, insects and meteorology, before detailing the records, localities and habitats of many types of flora.
With a large folding map of Dumfriesshire held in a rear pastedown pocket.
Condition
In the original cloth binding. Externally, very smart, with rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean, with light spotting to the first and last couple leaves and a small scuff to the front free endpaper. Blind stamped 'Riverslea Kirkcudbright' to the half title page. With a few small closed tears to the folding map, and a slightly larger, but neat split running down one of the folds.
