Volume III of this periodical, consisting of twenty-six issues, from No. 53, Wednesday, July 1st, 1896 to No. 79, Wednesday, December 30th, 1896.

A wonderful periodical about the sport of horse racing, beautifully illustrated throughout with monochrome portraits of horses and their riders, and further images of races.

With biographies of horses and riders, and accounts of race meets and scores throughout the second half of the year. 

Including articles on Australian races and jockeys, the Redcar Races, the grounds of Sandringham, and the Doncaster Sale Paddocks.

Condition

Rebacked, with the publisher's original morocco boards, with cloth back strip renewed. Significant rubbing to board perimeters. Endpapers renewed. Internally, firmly bound. Pages generally clean and bright, but with instances of foxing to text leaves.
