    Illustrated, Leather Binding

    Illustrated with a frontispiece, title vignette, and six plates. Collated complete. A collection of the author's own travel narratives, personal accounts and reflections on naval experiences. Written by Basil Hall, a British naval officer from Scotland, a traveller, and popular author.

    Condition

    Bound in full tree calf. Externally, sound with light rubbing and fading to the extremities. Small cracks to the front joint with some loss to the head of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot. Minor age toning to the extremities. School prize bookplate to the front pastedown.
