Very Scarce

A very scarce work in the publisher's original pictorial cloth binding. A children's story about dolls houses, illustrated with black and white plates by the author Alice M. Mitchell, known for her illustrations for the Banbury Cross series and Fireside Stories. A vanishingly scarce work.

Condition

In the publisher's original pictorial cloth binding. Externally fairly smart, though bumped to the extremities with shelf wear to the joints and head and tail of the spine. Small marks to the boards. Front hinge is strained but holding firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean except for the odd spot.
