First edition. A detailed record of two great Scottish families dating as far as is distinctly possible, from the move to the North about the time of the Reformation. With vast descents of each of the families, including commentary on births and deaths. Written by a descendant of the Douglas family.

Condition

In the original brown cloth binding. Externally, smart with light bumping to the extremities and the odd mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with ink annotations to most pages. Light age toning to the endpapers. Further ink notes and inscriptions to the endpapers and pastedowns.
