Rebound with endpapers renewed. Half title and nine pages of publisher's advertisements to the rear are present.
The third edition of the work, revised and enlarged. Undated, dated from the preface of the third edition.
With a frontispiece, nine further plates and numerous in text illustrations. Collated complete, with artistic dishes vignette incorrectly stated as page 764, but is actually present to reverse of half title.
Written by Charles Herman Senn, a prolific author of cookery works. This charming work includes a set of illustrated menus, one for each month of the year.
Condition
Rebound in half morocco, with endpapers renewed. Externally in lovely condition. Bookplate to front free endpaper. Internally firmly bound. Pages generally bright with scattered spotting, heavier to the first and last few pages. Tidemarks to tissue guard of frontispiece, with minor tidemarks to the frontispiece itself. Prior owner's ink signature to half title.
