Written by Frederick Ebenezer Baines, an English post office employee, known as a promoter of the post-office telegraph system.
Condition
In the original full cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities resulting in minor fraying. Light fading to the spine with the odd small mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot or handling mark. Contemporary ink inscription to the front endpaper.
