Written by Denham Jordan, who published works under the pseudonym 'A Son of the Marshes', referencing the landscape around his place of birth in Milton Regis, Kent. 

This whimsical work depicts all the types of birds that can be spotted in the areas just outside of London.

Condition

In the original cloth binding. Externally, generally smart with rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Spine has been rebacked. The odd mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with the odd spot. Browning to the endpapers.
