Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, cloth is a little discoloured and marked, as is usual to see with this volume. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spine, resulting in a little loss of cloth. Gilt to the spine and front board have faded. Front hinge is strained, rear hinge is starting but firm. Internally, binding is strained in places, with a few pages working loose. Pages are bright and generally clean with some scattered spots. Ink mark to the margin of the first few pages. Small part of the head of the half-title has been excised.
