    Rulers of India details the historical period when Lord Amherst was Governor-General of India and his administration oversaw the First Anglo-Burmese War, a conflict that expanded British control in Southeast Asia.

    With sixteen pages of original publisher's advertisements to the rear of the work.

    Condition

    In the publisher's original blue cloth with gilt lettering to spine and front board. Externally, excellent with slight bumping to spine head and tail and extremities. The odd mark to boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright. The odd closed tear to folding map. Contains sixteen pages of original publisher's advertisements to the rear of the work.
