A very scarce binding variant, bound in the publisher's paper wraps. Upon publication this work was sold for $1 in cloth and 50 cents in paper, as is stated on the opening page. This delicate binding is protected by a custom cloth chemise and slipcase.

Condition
Bound in the publisher's paper wraps, with a custom cloth chemise and slipcase. Externally, very good, with light edge wear, creasing and a few marks. A little loss to the backstrip head and tail, with repairs to remaining backstrip. Small tear to the head of the front joint. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Chemise and slipcase are fine, with just a little fading to the backstrip of the slipcase.
