These stories had originally been published in 'Household Words' and 'All the Year Round'.
Illustrated with a frontispiece, nineteen plates, and in-text illustrations. Collated, complete.
Undated, dated from Jisc from a copy held at the University of Oxford Libraries.
Condition
In a half morocco binding with cloth to the boards. Externally, smart, with light marks to the boards and spine. Spine is faded. Light rubbing to the spine and extremities. Bookplate to the front paste down. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, with scattered spots to the first and last few pages. Frontispiece is working loose.
