This is a comprehensive, elegantly bound edition of Longfellow’s complete poetry, the “Complete Copyright Edition”. This copy features lyric favorites like “Paul Revere’s Ride”, “Evangeline”, and “The Song of Hiawatha”, presenting both celebrated and lesser-known works.

Longfellow (1807–1882) is a Fireside Poet and America’s first popular international literary figure, known for his melodic lyricism, legendary narratives, and was the first American to completely translate Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy.

Condition

In a half red morocco binding with paper boards. Externally, smart. Slight fading and soiling to paper marbled boards. Slight rubbing and bumping to extremities, particularly at joints, resulting in slight loss to morocco. Slight offsetting and fading to endpapers with the odd spot. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean with one or two spots to fore edge.
