Complete in two volumes.

Illustrated with a frontispiece to each volume and with further vignette illustrations throughout from J. Arthur Gaskin, an English illustrator, painter, teacher and designer of jewellery and enamelwork.

Classic tales in this volume include The Snow Queen, The Ugly Duckling, The Little Mermaid, and The Wild Swans.

Condition

In a half paper vellum binding, with cloth covered boards. Externally, bright, with significant spotting to paper vellum. Front hinge of volume II strained but firmly held. Internally, firmly bound. Pages exceptionally clean and bright.
