An uncommon, beautifully illustrated collection of children's poetry by Dollie Radford. With illustrations surrounding the poems and six colour plates, collated and complete. 'Songs for Somebody' was Radford's second publication, and includes sweet, amusing, and sad poems about topics such as birds, toys, stars, time, and the weather.

Condition

In the publisher's original binding with green cloth spine. Externally, generally smart with some light rubbing to the spine and some chipping to the edges of the boards. Lightly bumped to the head and tail of the spine with a little wear to the extremities. Front hinge starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Endpapers a little age-toned but pages are otherwise bright and clean.
