Captain Geoff by Ismay Thorn (1894) - With numerous illustrated plates and two pages of advertisements to the rear.

Condition

In the original decorative cloth binding. Externally, very smart, with rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Marks to the boards. Damp stains to 'Captain Geoff'. Hinges to 'Ben-Hur' and 'Beckie's Mission' are strained. With fading to the spines. Contemporary ink inscription to the front pastedowns of 'Thirsty Sword' and 'Beckie's Mission'. Internally, half title to the 'Thirsty Sword' detached but present and frontispiece to 'Beckie's Mission' detached but present, otherwise generally firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with offsetting and scattered spots to the endpapers. The odd spot throughout 'Ben-Hur', 'Silver Skates' and 'Quentin Durward'. Age toning throughout 'Beckie's Mission'.
