Written by Angelo John Lewis, an English barrister, and the leading writer on magic, games, amusements and puzzles of his time, who used the pseudonym Professor Louis Hoffman for publishing.
Condition
In the original pictorial cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing to the extremities and the odd small mark to the boards. Minor fading to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot and minor age toning to the extremities. A contemporary ink inscription to the title page.
