    Bound in full red calf prize binding from Dame Alice Omen's School. With a charming contemporary prize bookplate to the front pastedown.

    Written with young readers in mind, this book details a range of sun-related phenomena, including the rainbow, photosynthesis, spectres and shadows, with each section accompanied by instructions for home experiments. 

    Illustrated throughout, including a frontispiece and numerous in-text figures and engravings.

    Condition

    In a full red calf prize binding. Externally, very smart, with light rubbing to the extremities and a contemporary prize bookplate to the front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages.
