    New edition. With colour frontispiece and many in-text images. A fascinating study on plant life, with chapters on floral diplomacy, hide and seek, defence not defiance, co-operation of vegetation, plant economy, robbery, geographical vicissitudes, and much more. Written by J. E. Taylor Ph. D., a British botanist.

    Condition

    In the original beige cloth binding. Externally, smart with light shelf wear and minor bumping to the extremities. Fading to the spine and discolouration to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Frontispiece detached by present. Pages are very bright with the odd spot. Light spotting to the endpapers. Contemporary ink inscription to the front endpaper.
