A poem by Edwin Arnold, the English poet and journalist, following the life of Jesus Christ. Arnold is best known, for 'The Light of Asia', a narrative poem about Prince Gautama of India, the founder of Buddism. This work was an attempt to replicate the success of his earlier work with a tale of the founding of Christianity.

Bound in full calf. Endpapers renewed. Original half title retained. Externally excellent with minimal wear to the extremities and joints. Spotting to the endpapers. Internally firmly bound with light spotting to the front and rear, clean throughout, with bright pages.
