    The limited edition, large paper edition. Number 95 out of one hundred and fifty copies. This limited edition was published in the same year as the first edition, and is desirable due to the small limitation.

    Illustrated by H. J. Ford and Lancelot Speed with a monochrome frontispiece, many monochrome vignettes and eleven monochrome plates. Collated, complete. 

    An anthology of poetry compiled by Andrew Lang the renowned Scottish collector of folk and fairy tales, best known for his collection of coloured 'Fairy Books'. This anthology features poems from a variety of celebrated poets such as Coleridge, Macaulay, Wordsworth and Shakespeare.

    In the publisher's original paper covered boards. Externally smart with sunning to the spine, minimal edge wear, front joint starting at the head, with spotting and light marks to the boards. Bookplate of 'Edward Stein' to the front pastedown, with light offsetting to the endpapers. Internally firmly bound with bright and clean pages, with many pages unopened. Small closed tear to title page.
