'The Red Fairy book' is the second book in Andrew Lang's renowned 'Fairy Book' series, in which Lang compiled fictional and sometimes true stories, fairy tales and folk tales from around the world. In this volume Lang compiled stories from French, Russian, Danish, Romanian, and Norse mythology.
Including tales such as 'The Twelve Dancing Princesses', 'Jack and the Beanstalk', 'Rapunzel', 'Snowdrop', 'The Golden Goose', and more.

Condition
In the publisher's original paper covered boards. Externally, sunning to the spine with a closed tear running down the front joint with back strip lifting slightly, rear joint starting, minimal edge wear, and only the odd minor mark and spot to the boards. Bookplate of 'Edward S. de Stein' to the front pastedown, minor offsetting to the endpapers. Internally firmly bound with clean and bright pages and many unopened pages.
