A collection of the works of William Drummond, often called "of Hawthornden", a Scottish poet born at Hawthornden Castle, Midlothian. With titles including: Forth Feasting, Flowers of Sion, a Hymn of the Fairest Fair, The Shadow of the Judgement, and many others. Edited by William Barclay David Donald Turnbull, a Scottish antiquary and archivist.
Condition
In the original full cloth binding. Externally, smart with light rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities. The odd small mark to the cloth. Internally, firmly bound with the frontispiece loosening slightly. Pages are very bright with the odd small spot. Light age toning to the endpapers.
