Five short stories taken from the larger 'Blue Fairy Book', one of many such collections of fairy tales and short stories edited by Andrew Lang, a Scottish poet, novelist, literary critic, and contributor to the field of anthropology. He is best remembered as a collector of folk and fairy tales.

With a former owner's pencil inscription to the title page head.

A lovely copy of a very scarce volume.
