First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding
Comprised of: 'The Southampton Lodge No 394 of Antient, Free and Accepted Masons', (1906); 'Bournemouth Freemasons' (1901); 'A Short Account of the Past and Present of Oakley Lodge No 694' (Undated); 'Historical Sketch of the Chapter of Friendship No 257 Portsmouth' By William Jas Hughman (1890); 'The Dispute About the Age of the Sun, Square and Compass' (1890); 'The History of St John's Lodge No 328, Torquay', W Bro John Chapman; 'Catalogue of Books In the Library at Freemasons' Hall' By H W Hemsworth (Undated). With the original wraps bound in for each pamphlet. All pamphlets are very scarce. From the library of the 'Lodge of Harmony', Fareham. This lodge was first warranted in 1796 and is lodge no 309. The lodge of Harmony merged with moderns to become the United Grand Lodge of England.
Condition
In a full cloth binding. Original wraps to each pamphlet is bound in. Externally, excellent with minor shelfwear. Bookplate of contents to the front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. Scattered spots to the original wraps to several of the pamphlets. Previous ownership inscriptions to the front wrap of 'The History of St John's Lodge' and 'Catalogue of Books'. Pages are bright and clean.
