    A wonderful study of the butterflies of Great Britain by parson-naturalist, ornithologist and entomologist Francis Orpen Morris.

    Illustrated with seventy-two hand coloured plates of butterflies, and two monochrome plates.

    Collated, complete.

    Morris offers a wonderful technical exploration of the many different species and breeds, looking into their nature and lives.

    Condition

    In a half morocco binding, with marbled paper covered boards. Significant rubbing to joints and board perimeters. Hinges strained, but firmly held. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and generally clean, with only the odd spot.
