    An excellent copy of this delightful almanack for 1889, with beautiful colour illustrations alongside the months and dates for the coming year. With poetical verses from celebrated authors including Milton and Shakespeare.

    Compiled and illustrated by English Victorian artist, Kate Greenaway, who was particularly known for her children's book illustrations.

    Condition

    Bound in the publisher's original quarter cloth with pictorial hardback boards. Externally, very smart, with light marking to the boards, heavier to the front. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean, with a little age toning to the first and last page.
