The 1888 edition of this work, originally published in 1887.

Following in the long tradition first recorded by Guillaume de la Vilenueve in the 13th Century, this work records and illustrates the numerous trades seen in the streets of historic Paris.

Featuring frequent charming vignette illustrations, and 3 unnumbered monochrome plates.
No other collation record available.

Condition

Bound in original red pictorial boards. Externally, very smart. Significant fading to spine. Rubbing to front board gilt motifs, resulting in dulling. The odd mark to boards. Bumping to head and tail, slight bumping to other extremities. Slight age toning and spotting to endpapers. Internally, firmly bound. Pages generally bright and clean, with slight age toning, and the odd spot. Spotting to half title, slight spotting to title page.
