Oliver Goldsmith was an important Anglo-Irish author in the eighteenth century. A later impression of his collected poems and plays, with the addition of his most famous work, novel The Vicar of Wakefield and a memoir of the author.
Featuring poems including 'The Traveller' and 'The Deserted Village' among other miscellaneous poems, epilogues and prologues, and two plays: 'The Good Natured Man' and 'She Stoops to Conquer.'
Illustrated with a frontispiece portrait and other black and white plates.
Condition
In the original publisher's full cloth binding, gilt to edges. Externally very smart with minor shelf wear, spine and boards lightly bumped to extremities. Internally, firmly bound. Light spotting to fore edge, affecting only the first and last few leaves, otherwise pages are generally bright and clean throughout. Illustrated with frontispiece portrait of the author and other black and white plates in black and white.
