Illustrated with a frontispiece, twenty-six plates, and in-text illustrations. Collated, complete.

Written by Margaret Oliphant, a Scottish novelist known for her historical and supernatural novels.

Condition

In a full crushed morocco binding, bound by Suttaby. Externally, generally smart. Spine is faded. Light rubbing and a few minor marks to the boards and spine. A little light bumping to the extremities. Front hinge is starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with scattered spotting.
