A series of tales featuring the hardship and adventures of Caliph Harun al-Rashid, who was the fifth Abbasid caliph of the Abbasid Caliphate reigning from September 786 until his death.

His reign is widely regarded to be the start of the Islamic Golden Age.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, very smart with fading and bumping to the spine. Marks to the front board. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with scattered spotting, heaviest to the first and last few leaves. Front free endpapers are particularly age toned.
