Four volumes of 'The Navy List' bound in one volume, for 1887 and 1888.

'The Navy List', now known as 'Navy Directory', is an official list of naval officers, their ranks, seniority, ships, and more. This volume offers an expanse of information on the Royal Navy of Victorian England. 

Including the 'Navy List' corrected to the 20th December 1887, 20th March 1888, 20th June 1888, and the 20th September 1888. 

Institutional label to the front paste down.

Condition

In a half calf binding with marbled paper to the boards. Externally, generally smart. a little rubbed. Minor bumping to the extremities. Spine is a little faded. Cracks to the head and tail of the joints. Stamp to the top edge. Front hinge is tender. Front endpaper is working loose. Institutional stamp to the front paste down. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are lightly age-toned and clean. Stamp to the title page of the first part.
