A charming volume containing two lectures given by English historian, architectural artist, and Liberal politician Edward Augustus Freeman.

The lectures are titled 'Greater Greece and Greater Britain' and 'George Washington The Expander of England'.

In a full calf prize binding from St Bees School, Cumbria.

Condition

In a calf prize binding with gilt detailing. Significant rubbing to front joint, with light rubbing to back strip head and tail. Front hinge strained, but firmly held. One front blank removed. Internally, firmly bound. Light spotting to title page, with pages otherwise clean and bright.
